WebEasel Contest Rules & Eligibility Requirements
By participating in the OJC Technologies (OJC) Website 911 Contest, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules.
To Enter: To enter, visit http://www.webeasel.net/website 911 to complete a web-based entry form or submit an entry by mail, e-mail, or fax with the following information:

-Address of Your Organization/Business
-Contact information (name and e-mail/phone)
-Paragraph describing why keeping your website current is important to Champaign County

Contestants may contact OJC Technologies by phone at 217-278-3933 to request what information is needed on the entry form. All entries must be received by Thursday, October 16, 5pm, for prize consideration. NOTE: AS OF 10.09.03, CONTEST DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 0CTOBER 30, 5PM.
Eligibility: No purchase required to enter or win. The Contest is open to lawful residents of Champaign County, Illinois. Employees of OJC Technologies, the panel of judges, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Prize: The sole prize to be awarded through OJC Technologies is one software license of WebEasel, the creation of WebEasel templates, and hosting by OJC Technologies of an installation and training session. Winner may not choose cash or alternative prizes. Prizes are not transferable.
Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winner's consent to OJC's use of winner's name and organization for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
To Win: Entries to the Website 911 Contest will be judged by determining which site will positively impact Champaign County the most if updated regularly. This determination will be made by evaluating the following criteria:
1. Audience Composition – what is the potential size of the website audience? Who does the site serve? Does the audience have a positive impact on the community?
2. Potential Value of Information – To what extent does the information on the website impact the community? Does it fulfill a need of the community? Of what benefit is the website to the community?
3. Quality of Entry – Is the entry written clearly? Is it persuasive in providing reasons why keeping the website current is important to Champaign County?
4. Usability/Functionality of Existing Site – Is the website easy to navigate? Are there no broken links? Aside from out-of-date content, is the site otherwise user-friendly and functional?
Each entry will be initially screened by employees of OJC Technologies who will determine five (5) finalists. A panel of judges will then make their selection of the winner from these five (5) finalists.
The entry that judges deem best fits the above criteria will be awarded the prize.
Limitation of Liability: By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless OJC Technologies, their employees, directors, and agents from any damages which may arise out of participation in the Contest or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of the prize.
OJC is not responsible for technical failures of any kind including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service.
Prize winner will be announced at the WebEasel Release Party, Thursday, November 6, 5pm at Crane Alley, 115 W Main Street, Urbana, IL. Results will also be posted on http://www.ojctech.com and in The Paper. For the name of the contest winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: WebEasel Contest, OJC Technologies, 115 W Main Street, 2nd Floor, Urbana, IL 61801 before November 30, 2003.
