Jazz Threads Goes Live!
Jazz Threads is a partnership between the Champaign-Urbana community and Krannert Center for the performing arts to commemorate the history, celebrate the present, and build the future of the vibrant American art form of jazz on a local level. As part of a larger jazz education endeavor, Jazz Threads wanted a website that local volunteers could be a part of - and ultimately help to keep updated.

The Jazz Threads website artistic design was created by OJC Technologies. Then, using WebEasel, Krannert Center staff, community volunteers, and Jazz Threads committee members were able to come together at a series of web-raisings and build the Jazz Threads website in less than 2 weeks. "Webeasel and OJC provided a fast, easy way to organize and enter content for our site, and I'm looking forward to continuing upkeep and development of the pages on our own!" said Maureen Reagan, Assistant Marketing and Patron Services Director of Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
40 North/88 West, the Champaign Arts Culture and Entertainment Council generously offered to host the Jazz Threads website as part of their own website. You can find the new Jazz Threads website at www.40north.org/jazzthreads.
