What is WebEasel?
WebEasel software allows any authorized user to update your website anytime from anywhere within minutes.
Here's how it works: WebEasel uses templates to separate design from content. This allows a web designer to set the look of a website in templates. Then a content author can update the content without web design skills.
The benefits? Web designers can now focus on design, rather than losing precious time trying to keep up with website content. Non-designers can suddenly make a myriad of content changes in confidence; they can change the content without "breaking" the site.
Do I have to install software on my desktop or web server to use it?
No. WebEasel runs on its own server and publishes anywhere you tell it to. All you have to do to use it is open up a web browser - such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, or Safari - and start updating!
How do I get it?
Three easy steps:
- Purchase access to WebEasel.
- OJC Technologies will put your existing site into WebEasel.
- You will be given a username and password. You log on at www.webeasel.net and can start updating your website immediately.
How do I use it once I've got it?
- Anywhere you see an easel, you can edit. Click on any easel to start editing. Editable content includes, but is not limited to text, images, links, lists, and tables. You can also add new pages and links to pages through out your website.
- When you're done editing, you'll want to publish to make your changes live. With the click of one button, publishing is complete, and all of your new content is now live on the world wide web.
